Seasonal Retreats
Advent and Lent are demanding times in the Church calendar. Often, leaders miss the opportunity to attune to these Holy seasons of encounter as they guide others through them. With this in mind The Abbey, in partnership with the Denver Seminary Soul Care Initiative, offers Christian leaders and laity sacred space in these seasons to simply be with God in the midst of full lives and ministry. Each half-day retreat includes times of guided group teaching, opportunities for individual spiritual direction, with the majority of the day left largely unscheduled to allow time for rest, reflection, and encountering God.
2026 ADVENT RETREATS
Every year, we offer seasonal retreats for you as a faith leader. It is an opportunity to engage in rest & receptivity before you companion your congregation, staff, community, family, clients or organization through the season. If you are someone who holds prayerful, caring space for others, this is a retreat where prayerful, caring space will be held for you.
