Corresponding to the Church calendar, The Abbey, in partnership with the Denver Seminary Soul Care Initiative, offers Christian leaders and laity sacred space to simply be with God in the midst of the many demands of life and ministry. Each half-day retreat includes a brief time of guided group teaching, worship, and opportunities for individual spiritual direction, with the majority of the day left largely unscheduled to allow time for rest, reflection, and encountering God.

Hold the ache, mind The Light

Every year, we offer a retreat for you as a faith leader to enter into the expectant longing and ache of Advent. It is an opportunity to engage in rest & receptivity before you companion your congregation, staff, community, family, clients or organization through the season.
